Manarat Al Saadiyat literally means ‘ the place of enlightenment’.

It is a 15,400 square meter arts and culture center, designed to bring the vision of the island to life through The Saadiyat Story. The venue also features four gallery spaces.
Located on Saadiyat, this artistic venue houses exhibitions with international collections from around the world, including three major galleries, a central events gallery, sales center, 250-seat theatre, and restaurant.

The main galleries of Manarat Al Saadiyat constitute of permanent spaces for a series of exhibitions and educational programmes organized by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority. This is part of an ongoing cultural programme dedicated to developing awareness and understanding of art and culture prior to the launch of the Saadiyat Cultural District.

I've gone too many cultural centers and museums way back in the Philippines. And I'm expecting the same concept. But I was wrong. It was indeed a refresher for myself. It took me 2 hours to finish browsing the entire galleries. Composing of different events inside. The first gallery was composed of the past, present and the future of Abu Dhabi. Gone from its native culture it was simply amazing.

The Saadiyat comes with 4 Galleries. Each Gallery consists of events from various organizations in UAE.

The time we visited, the organizers are introducing some diverse cultures, the technology of the future, real estate properties and of course, the history of Abu Dhabi.

Gallery 2. - It was close that time for some reasons.

It was a perfect timing when we visited the cultural museum. The people and organizer from Sheikh Zayed University (ZUO) was conducting an event about arts and fashion. Other universities did joined the crowd too.

Photography. If you are a photo enthusiast then surely you will appreciate the stuffs here.

The gallery was divided into 3 sections. These sections comes with different photo themes. There was an entry from different categories. Raw and unedited pictures. Different pictures was hanged on the wall. From the best of the best photograph. The competition was open for any nationalities.
I'm not into photography, but I always take a selfies a lot. yay!:)

If you are into books having some bookworm moments. The library is best for you. See the grills, side by side of this pano shot.? Behind these grills are books. About Abu Dhabi and other genre as well.
