Room Rental - Tourist Club Area, Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates

Shifting out- Should I?

Shifting out to another place is very difficult. Especially to expatriates.

The struggle is real

If you are working in the United Arab Emirates, You know what I mean.

2 years ago, I don't have a permanent location, I am shifting to different emirates.
From Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman , Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
The good thing? I already visited the entire Emirates!  :D Including Al Ain too!

Pieces of Stuff, After all these years, shall I keep it or dispose of?

I have a lot of stuff from my wardrobe, table, bed, kitchen utensil and more. So I need someone to shift these pieces of pieces of stuff. Good thing there's transport shifting services around the corner. Just contact them, ask them for the good price and you're good to go :)

Charges, Fees - Ouch!

How much is the charge then? Well, it depends on the emirate. As far as I remember, I paid 500 Dirhams to shift out to Ajman from Sharjah that's roughly $137.

Comparing the rentals from different Emirates

From Ajman to Fujairah roughly $200. (ouch). Anyways, the only benefit you will get is the cheap rental flats from Ajman going to Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. (yey) .

I noticed, the farther you will stay away from Dubai or Abu Dhabi, the cheaper the rents are. Ajman Fujairah, and RAK (Ras Al Khaimah) - the rent for the electricity and internet includes everything in one payment (As per my experience). However, in Dubai - the payment for the Water, Electricity and Internet is separated. Thus, It still depends on your landlord on how she collects the payment.

Verdict- Abu Dhabi for now

At the moment, I am currently residing here in the Capital of the UAE- Abu Dhabi.

Though the rental of the flat is 25% less compared to Dubai.
I am paying 925 Dirhams roughly $253 for my partition that includes everything. And my workplace is just opposite of the building where I currently reside. I saved a lot from my transportation as well.

Little Comparison- Not much but convenience and privacy

Where compared to Sharjah - next emirate to Dubai, where the rental is highly similar to Dubai.
I am paying 750 Dirhams (Down bed-Double decker)-  Bedspacer along with some roommates of 6 people. Imagine that? Canned sardines? SoThe water, electricity, and internet bill are not included. so I'm paying roughly 850 dirhams. Sounds cheaper compared to Abu Dhabi right? But what about the comfort? Privacy? It's limited I say.

Therefore- Abu Dhabi is Better (for now)

As what I said, I am currently residing in Abu Dhabi. I am leaving together with my two other roommates in a clean well tidy and noise-free flat.

Just the 3 of us... Yes and we have privacy too :)

Recommendations!

So I am writing this Article to recommend a Flat which is currently available as of the moment.
This flat is situated at the City Center of Abu Dhabi- Tourist Club Area.

This building where the flat is situated  is very accessible to all establishments such as :

  • Abu Dhabi Mall
  • City Terminal  - if you want to drop off your luggage in advance to the airport
  • Ramada Hotel - they are just neighbors with the building and the landmark as well.
  • KM Supermarket- if you need to buy some goods
  • Restaurants such as Mang Inasal, Jollibee, and other Filipino Restaurant
  • Capacious Parking Lot- worry-free since the building provides a parking area for its tenants.
  • 7th Floor Spot
  • Bus Station- its a few steps away from the bus station - that most 2 to 3 digit buses pass by on this spot going and coming by the city. So it is very convenient for everyone who wants to leave in this area. As what I have mention, its the city center itself.

Please refer to the pictures below. What's inside the flat.
